A complete mathematics diagnostic assemsment for your student with an online meeting, complete report, and recommended plan of action.

Here is what you get:

  • A complete assessment of your student’s strengths and weaknesses.
  • A full list of your students’ strengths and weaknesses and a lesson plan to address those weaknesses.
  • A 45-minute Zoom meeting to address any concerns, teach a concept or two, ask clarifying questions, and get a full picture of what your student does or does not know.

This is for you if:

  • You want to know EXACTLY what to work on with your student and want to quit wasting time practicing skills your student has already mastered.
  • You want not to know not only your students’ strengths and weaknesses, but also what to do with the information and how to fill in the gaps or extend the learning that’s been identified.

This is NOT for you if:

  • You are satisfied working through curriculum and practicing concepts already mastered.

Hey Friends! 

My name is Carolyn Holman, and I’m the teacher behind Mrs. Holman’s Classroom. I am a certified math teacher with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and a Master’s in Teaching, and I have been teaching and/or tutoring (both online and in person) for the last 12+ years! 

My specialty is inspiring students to learn to love (or at least like!) math and learning. I especially love teaching Algebra and making all those crazy abstract concepts concrete and understandable. My teaching is always student-centered and focused on WHY math works and exploring patterns, rather than just formulas to memorize with no real understanding of why they work. 

I love seeing the lightbulb go off in students’ heads when they understand a concept, and I look forward to seeing that in your student too!

Frequently Asked Questions

I use the Let’s Go Learn assessment, which you purchase separately for $25. You have the option to purchase more than one assessment so you can track progress over time. 

It depends on the assessment. Most reports will be finished within 72 business hours, but sometimes it takes longer depending on the situation. 

My refund policy is this: Full refund until a week in advance, or within 24 hours of purchase (until the session starts).

Students will be expected to complete the assessment within the given time frame and turn in the results by the specified date. If students do not turn in the assessment by the given time frame, they may forfeit the online meeting portion of the Diagnostic Assessment package. 

This is up to you! When you enroll, you will choose a date at least 1 week in advance. That date is the date of your online meeting with me. You must have the assessment completed and submitted 3 business days prior to the meeting so that I can be adequately prepared, so make sure you choose a day that is far enough out that you can take and submit the assessment with adequate time before the meeting.
