Starting a Shopify Shop

Hey everyone! I have some thing super exciting to announce!

I have always been obsessed with stationary: journals, notebooks, coloring books, binders… You name it, I love it!

As I have started this entrepreneur journey I have been dying to open my own store- and we are finally there!

Introducing: Mrs. Holman’s classroom: Digital resources

In my store you will find digital notebooks, journals, binders, and coloring books. The digital products will also be printable, so you can use them over and over again! eventually, I hope to offer home school and teacher resources and lesson plans.

So why digital products?

I decided to go the digital product route for several reasons.

1) I love digital notebooks, and it’s so fun creating my own!

2) No inventory: I don’t have to keep a stock in my closet

3) I can easily expand what my store offers

4) digital products are super popular right now

As I venture into the world of digital products, I hope to take you on the journey with me. I want my products to help add organization and fun into your life.

What I’ve done so far.

Let’s take a quick peek into what I’ve done to set up my store. I currently use Shopify to host my store ‘and it’s been amazing! Super easy to set up and customize, and you can make it look super professional easily.

I’ve used the Affinity publishing suite to create my products. There’s a bit more of a learning curve as opposed to using something like canvas, but I’m SOOO proud of the results!

I’ve gotten a lot of my fonts and clip art from Creative Market. Creative Market is the best, when it comes to anything creative, you need it, they have it. Some of my favorite doodles and fonts are from the Creative Market store.

My email list is through Kajabi. I’m still figuring out exactly how it works, but since I already host my tutoring and courses through Kajabi, It made sense to keep my email list on their also so I don’t have to pay for a separate email provider.

And there you have it! I’m so excited to launch this shop, and I can’t wait to see how it does.

What do you want to see in the shop? Leave a comment below or send me an email!

Go check out the shop, get yourself a free journal, and share with your friends!

See you there!
